Alchemilla erythropoda, commonly known as the dwarf lady's mantle, is a perennial herbaceous plant belonging to the Rosaceae family. Native to Eastern Europe and parts of Central Asia, this low-growing species is closely related to Alchemilla mollis but is more compact in size. It typically grows up to 15–20 cm (6–8 inches) tall and forms neat, mounding clumps of attractive, lobed, bluish-green foliage with a slightly serrated edge. The leaves have a characteristic ability to hold water droplets, creating a shimmering effect.

During late spring to early summer, Alchemilla erythropoda produces small, yellow-green flowers in airy clusters, adding to its ornamental appeal. It thrives in well-drained soils and can tolerate partial shade to full sun. Due to its compact nature and resilience, it is often used as ground cover, in rock gardens, or as an edging plant in garden borders. It is also valued for its drought tolerance and ease of maintenance.
